Sex & Shenanigans

Not gonna say it’s bad because it’s not. But…I think Cruel intentions is better . Period pieces are great. Modern adaptations better. See also Clueless, She’s all That, Baz’s Romeo and Juliet and the aforementioned 10 Things.

Every opinion is as valid as any other. But I would disagree on several of those. As well as the blanket statement, "modern adaptations better."

God dammit just when I thought I couldn't love you more... Lol. You're perfect.

I want the excitement of watching her betray everything that's is most important to her. Surely you understand that. I thought betrayal was your favorite word."

John Malkovich fucking rules.

But I will be happy to watch Cruel Intentions all the way through.

Agree on Cruel Intentions, Clueless and 10 Things I Hate About You, but disliked Baz’s Romeo+Juliet. As far as R&J adaptations go, I did really like Rosaline (released on Hulu a few months ago) and Romeo Must Die with Aaliyah and Jet Li. Although I really did enjoy Dangerous Liasons, Cruel Intentions is just amazing. 10TIHAY is one of those comfort movies I’ve watched countless times, but Deliver Us From Eva with Gabrielle Union and LL Cool J is a solid Taming of the Shrew adaptation too

I’m not arguing. It’s a fantastic movie. I just think for conveying the actual meaning and message, Cruel Intentions is better.
