As someone who spent decades in corporate life, and then decided I couldn't do it anymore, it is an amazing feeling to finally walk free. I am doing something completely different, but it is important work, and I get up every day happy to do my job. I am still in transition, home wise (I chose to wait until my daughter graduated from college to sell our house, so I am in an apartment for the next couple of years), but I am happy, and I love what I do.

I hope you find what brings you joy.

Yup! Search “rainbow corn” or “glass gem corn” and there are a few reputable sources that sell seeds. US agricultural industry kinda streamlined and subsidized the fk out of a very few varieties of corn to grow en masse, but indigenous tribes kept growing more heirloom varieties. We need to keep living in a world where rainbow corn still exists!
