But take grilled rye, with corned beef or pastrami, sauerkraut and Swiss cheese……well thousand island dressing with a hint of horseradish is perfect (aka Russian dressing but you can’t seem to find that at the store anymore).

We had a deli out here that added roasted turkey to their Reuben, which went well, surprisingly, and their Russian dressing was wonderful.
