I am so frustrated. The power went out an hour ago. I was working on a work problem, and while I was waiting for that computer to do its thing, I was working on our little post count routine. Which the parts that are slightly challenging were all done, just 15 or 20 minutes worth of fine tuning then I could run it.

But nooooooooo! The power went out!! Hopefully my old home computer I was using didn’t lose everything.

Then to make it even better, some street racers decided it was fun to use our residential street, with little kids living on it for making high speed passes… in the rain. That infuriates me. I have a tendency to walk out in the middle of the street when they do that. I would rather they ran me over then hit any of these neighborhood kids.

I hope your computer comes back to life! I bought a small battery backup for under $100 on Amazon for my network gear so I can safely power them down. I highly recommend everyone get one!

As a former motorcycle owner, drivers who behave like that should face jail time. They're the reason for the stigma, they're the reason for stats, and they're the reason normal people get angry about bikers. I'm with you, not afraid to walk right out to people being dumb and dangerous.
