I was pondering writing a simple browser app to load each page, write a parser to find the information we want, dump it to a simple database, then let it run automatically through all the pages. Then query the local database for data.

I don't know how to write an app, but that's pretty much exactly what I wanted to do. The quotation and reaction fields need removed, then you just count the names of the post authors.

So… look… I was not joking about statistical sampling. Take say 100 random pages from each thousand. Maybe 3-5 posts from each. You’ll probably get something reasonable.
