The evidence of it being election money is not relevant. I just caught an MSNBC soundbite on Trump's supporters. The report pointed out that no Republican Trump supporters anywhere held large rallies at courthouses to protest his court trial in NY.

Trump complained on television that the police barricaded the courthouse area to keep his MAGA crowd away. Cameras panned the area, showing it had free traffic flow, and the news reported that one person was there earlier. The MSNBC news reporter went out to the street earlier to check his claim and said he saw THREE of the MAGA supporters outside—not a 'crowd' of them. No one, the reporter declared, seemed to care about Trump's trial.

To add to the pain of that embarrassment, MSNBC pointed out that no family members were in the courtroom nor were there any close friends of Trump present to lend visible support. Trump was alone, wedged between lawyers, and emotionally unsupported.

That's sad, yet comforting. By that, I mean the J6 type of vitriolic hate speech had not managed to put a ripple in the waters of justice.

Pecker’s (haha) testimony showed that the National Enquirer saw fit to publish all the stories about Trump’s rivals that were false but the actual true stories of Trump‘s lewd dalliances and infidelity (which, btw, the base reader of the Enquirer would have loved ) were the ones that needed to be buried.
