The float is not for me but I'm not a big wine guy.

I do have a family whiskey sour recipe that has served me well. It's my go to for an eye opener. Much better than a bloody. Then again, Vodka and I had a huge fight when I was 18 and we haven't spoken since, so....

Redbreast, lemon juice, simple syrup. Sometimes an egg white, no garnish. I will go with a nice rye (I am partial to a local distillery, Crater Lake), but I prefer the flavor of the Redbreast. It is my "comfortable chair" of cocktails. Float when I want something "jammy," but I love red wine, so...

Neck and neck with a classic dry Martini (with orange bitters) for me.

Not a bartender, I just cosplay one at home.
