Ok shenanigang … I have an announcement..


I know we’re less than 100 pages until the 4000 page S&S Awards … but I think as an attempt to win every award possible.. @SalaciousMonkey22 has taken post whoring to a whole new level.

It is with a heavy heart, that I say the awards have been cancelled for 4000 pages.

Awards will resume for page 5000…. They will probably end up being a “Best Of” … take the time to think about all the best moments of the past 5000 pages and 1 year of this amazing thread filled with all the best people!!!

@morelikeasong got me into lavender coffee, so I made a syrup with some culinary lavender. Made a cappuccino with it, and it was good, even posted it in the Variations on a Theme thread. But then I tried it with some club soda as an Italian Soda and was obsessed. (With the soda. I was already obsessed with morelikeasong.)

Anyway, I have been making different syrups, like raspberry, and Meyer lemon. I just made a jalapeño syrup, mixed it with lime juice, and club soda. Fucking delicious. Since I made it from fresh peppers, it has that..."green" flavor? Kind of a verdant flavor, like fresh greens -- not sure what to call it. But it is delicious. I may try it in a margarita.
Definitely try the margaritas...
