@morelikeasong got me into lavender coffee, so I made a syrup with some culinary lavender. Made a cappuccino with it, and it was good, even posted it in the Variations on a Theme thread. But then I tried it with some club soda as an Italian Soda and was obsessed. (With the soda. I was already obsessed with morelikeasong.)

Yeah, simple syrup. So 1:1 mix between sugar and usually water, but in the lemon it was fresh lemon juice and the zest of a couple lemons. I don't know!! It's my mental image of Americans; unnecessarily big cars, and syrup on pancakes.
On the weird drinks, there is a company in the US called Jones Soda. They make a lot of different flavors, but their most...infamous... one is Turkey and Gravy. Ok, I like syrup on my pancakes. Just a bit, maple syrup. (I make fucking spectacular pancakes). But I wouldn't put jalapeño on them.
I brought up the iced coffee, and then, yeah ok, fair.
