Sex & Shenanigans

I grew up without house plants. Had no idea how to care for them. I've gotten better as I've grown older, but, my first plant was an aloe vera I got from a friend...

I watered that poor thing so hard it rotted. She'd told me "just spray it a bit every day". Well I sprayed it so much that the soil turned to mud.

Rest in peace little friend. I'm sorry I killed you :(

I had a snake plant that my late wife had given me (she was still alive then), and had it in my office at work. And it was getting sick, clearly. It had been with me for almost 10 years, never had a problem. What was going on?? Turnd out the lady who cleaned at night was watering it regularly, and of course, I was watering it sparingly, also. And yeah… it rotted away and died. Broke my heart.

I kill plants at my home all the time. I either forget to water them or water them too much.

I have two plants at work that require watering once a week. One I've managed to keep alive for almost 7 years, the other I just got a month and a half ago and *fingers crossed* it looks good.

A Peace Lily and an Orchid.

I'm sitting here with a little cheeky drink, and was about to write "Let's pour one out for our fallen friends" but, uh... Guess I haven't learned a thing eh.

Rest in peace little friend of Brenda 💕

Thank you! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I want to get some house plants again. I can do good with them… but am broken hearted if I kill them. 🙄🙄🤣🤣🤣🤣

I’m way too sensitive for my own good. 🤣🤣🤣

I killed a snake plant. They're supposed to be nearly unkillable, but I took that as a challenge, apparently. I love to garden. The plants outside are gorgeous, my climbing roses are gorgeous & my veggie garden is my pride & joy. But, plants inside my house will be victims of a accidental homicide

I have an orchid... Well, a few actually, and I've named them and talk to them. My oldest one I got during my divorce and named her Ophelia. She's alive and seems healthy but she hasn't bloomed for so long. I nearly killed her several times but if she died I would be so sad... 🌸🪷🌷
