Actually, truth be told, I like a good bit of banterous mudslinging at the politically inept. At the moment they happen to be the utterly clueless shower on the right of the various houses.

It's kind of like the Romans delivering an entertainment verdict on bloodsports for me so I'll always dive into a politics chat, not avoid it. I find it fun, and slightly ridiculous how seriously those idiots and their knuckledragger base take it.

I stand corrected, but feel that burg or burgh/borough in Anglo would refer to a fortified town or city, so basically the same. Or more or less. Or a bit (I'm reaching here )
