Anyone from the UK?

Just want to check I am in the right place. A uk chat is surely based on:
How to make cup of tea correctly
Bin day (are you the binfluencer for your road?)
Queueing
Weather

If none of these topics are regular the thread is not about the UK 😂

Include custard preferences and Harry Potter house, and you are in the right place :)

Also your Hogwarts house and whether you take your custard hot or cold.

But definitely not sex

I feel you may kick me out. I watched the first Harry Potter and I would rather drink tea made with a bag clogged up with milk than ever watch another film.
Custard always hot except the amount that is on the spoon post scraping to a pan/jug. Always lick the spoon
Well, this one's easy to place...

Pissytea!

If you join the rest of them and the prefects will take you to your common room, next door to the kitchens...

You seem to be related to Cormac McLaggen, and I normally keep families in the same house... But your relationship with the truth is so much more like Slytherin...

Bollocks, I'll put you in Ravenclaw and @AmandaKellyUK can deal with you...

1. Milk goes first (if it’s good enough for the late Her Maj it’s good enough for me)
2. Thursdays but check Alan’s for brown bin week
3. Queueing is what we do
4. Look out the window and take a brolly
As for custard: only acceptable hot and in lashings of it. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Phil the racist Greek was good enough for the late Maj, and Andy the paedo was her favourite son...

Agree but are you a bag drinker or leaf drinker? Do you use a cup or tea pot? So many variables. Not all about how you make it hot
You are silly!

You shouldn't drinking either. You use them to make the tea, but discard them before drinking. This is why you ended up in Pissytea

I should really post this on the “ick” thread but I can’t be arsed to go there so I am telling you all (I just need to get it out)…

Today, on my bus, there was a person eating raw mushrooms. Not out of a container or bag that they had put washed mushrooms into. Oh no, this fucking feral savage was eating them straight out of the supermarket packaging!
🤣

And another thing: it’s scone as one gone, not as in cone… otherwise the world’s fastest cake doesn’t work.

Whilst I'm not a tea drinker, my ex is and the method of making tea was always:

Teabag in first, then water, squeeze the bag to within an inch of its life, discard bag, then milk.

Having never made tea any other way, milk before water seems wrong to me.

Why do you discard the milk?

Freak

I make it the same way if I am making it in a cup.

If I am using a teapot then I put a little boiled water in the teapot, give it a swirl and then tip the water away. This warms the pot a little. I add the teabags (3 to a standard sized pot) and then fill with boiling water. Stir with a teaspoon and leave to brew for a few minutes (around 3). I add milk (and sugar if required) to the cups and then pour the tea from the pot into the cups. Stir with a teaspoon.
