I am in the same pocket. I have a story 97% finished, and it needs editing. But I can't seem to get there.

I have an epic story, like 25 chapters, and I love parts of it, but I am debating on whether it is an arena I want to play in anymore, regardless of how I love some of the characters. I think I can break it up and recycle big parts of it, but honestly, I love the end, and I want to see how to salvage that. But again, I can't seem to get my head in the right place for it.

I have spent a lot of time in the "fun" side of Lit, maybe I am debating on how much I still need the "work" side of it.

I write one story with three or four chapters every 13 years.

I still need to write the fourth and final chapter to this one story I've started so I can take a 12 year break.

Well, I was a Lit reader, and I came here to work out some things with a bit more freedom. I am writing a novel, and in my "mainstream" stuff, I have never written a sex scene. So I did. I had an idea for a scene, and that became a story, and I really enjoyed the characters, so that ended up several more stories. And that led to an idea that became this massive story. Which I love the beginning and end. But suddenly, I have four stories, and one on the way, in the T/I Category, and that isn't really a place I am comfortable playing.

I have a couple of nearly sex-free romances, which were fun, and another romance about 50% done, but I can't get there either.

Seriously though, sometimes we were told to take 2 800 mg pills at a time, them be expected to drink with the rest of squadron the same day.

I work with an editor, but I haven't had anything for him to read in a couple months, heh. He works for numerous people, out of a queue. But some stuff I edit myself. The Romances, for example, were all my fault.
