Sex & Shenanigans

This is body-horror, not demonic horror. Like the Fly, or SAW, or Hostel. 😇 But maybe I should delve into that forbidden book....

Thank you 🥰🥰🥰

The best comment I've ever got was from that story :ROFLMAO:
Oh no. I’m glad I read this first. I love some horror movies, but the one sub-genre I can’t watch is the meaty gory torture stuff like Saw and Hostel

I have a bottle of Pink Moscato and White Zinfandel in my fridge so... margaritas?

Not everyone likes tequila George!

God.

They do if they like Margaritas, Wagner!

Margaritas can be tequila free …

**goes home to make a non-tequila margarita

Ughhh this is the taco conversation all over again 🤬 Again, drink what you want, but if it doesn’t have tequila, orange liqueur, lime, ice, and preferably a salt rim, you don’t get to call it a margarita 😜

Any single-ingredient variations must be reflected in the drink name, like strawberry margarita, mango-rita, virgin margarita, etc. Wine margaritas aren’t a thing!

Hahaha I wasn’t judging, cheap drunk is the best kinda drunk! I just get extra silly on white claw 🤣
I was totally judging, but on the “margaritas” 😜

I'll clear the clean clothes off my bed for you. I can make up the couch for myself.

I'm confused, that is very, gentlemanly.

Didn't know we did that around here.
Is it still gentlemanly if it’s like the 23rd time he offered his bed here?

Awe. Too bad! There's no sloppy meatiness, no gore, no blood, those things don't fly on Lit. There's also Laurel's golden Non-con rule; the characters must, in some way, enjoy the experience. But the spirit of the genre is there. Torture á plenty!

I usually love those kinds of films. Especially the first SAW - I consider it a cinematic masterpiece (2-7 not at all). The feelings of revulsion and disgust, yet balanced with curiosity and genuine edge-of-your-seat anxiety makes it, well, yeah. A masterpiece. Unfortunately it was lightning in a bottle, and James Wan hasn't been able to recapture it :(

I tried to watch a few films like that. Hostel, Saw, etc. I just couldn't enjoy it in any way. I love me a good horror film (I'm a massive Alien/Aliens fan!) but I couldn't find the enjoyment in this genre.

Who says I didn’t share them?
She said “more often”

I have legit used this trick to identify Kentucky in the past 😅

My stupid brain. Tigbler elves…no…Tibittiy elves…..Toblerone Elves…aggghhh
Dude. There’s more to @Tigobitties98 than just her spectacular tits. Have you forgotten she plays video games with her vagina?! Kegel Elves was right there!

I’m way too old and tired to be in the first 20 rows anymore.
Given the choice, I try to arrange it so that I’m in the front row of whichever section I’m in. I don’t even care if it’s the last section. If I’m in the front row of the section, I can stay seated if I’m not feeling up to jumping around and dancing, without having to worry about someone standing in front of me and blocking my view. Would love to jump up and dance through every concert, but I can’t always pick which days are good days and which days are pass out days 🤷🏻‍♀️
Still, this ticketing method might help other aging concert-goers too 🤘🏽😜

You don’t know this about me, but I have been know to say, out loud, with great fervor, that there’s no such thing as too much animal print 😉
You don’t know this about me, but I dislike every animal print, except zebra, and even that is just…aesthetically tolerable. I prefer leopard, cheetah, tiger and giraffe prints to remain on leopards, cheetahs, tigers and giraffes

What about supernatural body-horror, like Event Horizon, Hellraiser, Scanners, The Thing? They're arguably worse in the gore-department, and includes a bit of cosmic horror. And if you enjoy those, what makes human horror like SAW worse? For me, that ever present feeling of "realism", which disappears in monster horror, is what sets them above the rest.

Not trying to convince you or change your views; I'm just really curious what you feel is different about them :)

I'm trying to laugh at this but my phone will only let me like it. I'm sorry about the 500 notifications if it told you about every time... 🤣
That’s happened to me a few times, and the photo button has broken too. So frustrating!

13 Going on 30 was an underrated movie. There, I said. it. And not just because I posted "Thriller" in the Music Challenge thread.

Can I interest you in buying a copy of Gigli?
How DARE?!? 13 Going on 30 is a gem. A GEM!

Well, technically I am Bert, but whatever...

💗🥰💗

Also…has anyone else noticed that when I casually mentioned I have a mild Santa kink, a photo of him in a Santa hat appeared? And when I suggested someone do a ghost dick with a Scooby Doo ending, he produced a ghost dick video with a Scooby Doo ending? And when I expressed a desire for @SalaciousMonkey22 to do the Ernie laugh and sing the rubber ducky song, @UnquietDreams did the Ernie laugh and sang the rubber ducky song? 🤔 I’m gonna need some time while I decide how to best utilize my newfound power next 😈

pmann fact… I never had an entire cup of coffee until I was 37. I don’t like coffee. I prefer hot tea. I can drink a cafe breve. That’s the only coffee drink but that’s mostly cream. Nom nom.
If there’s anyone I believe this of, it’s you

Y'know, that's a great question, and I don't know that I have much more than 'vibes'. Now, I haven't seen Scanners and I have seen but don't remember much from Hellraiser. The other two, I remember - and maybe it is the cosmic/monster/supernatural horror element that sets it apart for me? I came away thinking Saw and Hostel were just somehow set up to focus more on the cruelty, and maybe that doesn't stand up to scrutiny, I haven't really analysed/compared them.

For me, it’s the reason behind the gore. Like if an alien bursting out of a human rips the human body to shreds, it’s just a consequence of the plot. It’s the other gory torture films where the torture IS the point that I don’t enjoy 🤷🏻‍♀️

I did something similar. Micro-planed the zest and threw it in with the juice of about 6 lemons, and sugar. Added a couple cups of water, ran it through my ice cream maker.
Sinfully delicious lemon ice. Add some simmered raspberries with a shot of blackberry liqueur in there and 😈
Damn wolf that sounds good.

Between yours and @UnquietDreams suggestions I’ve got something to try out!

How close? 🤏close?
The part I sang was the only bit I knew from the song but I wanted to continue on that trend since you had sang the “friend in low places” part on the other thread. And it felt fitting after calling people on here friends :)

So I had to look up the lyrics of the part you sing here because I was like wow, does Garth really say that? And no, no he does not.

Did you just tell me to kiss your ass?! 😲
