Day 10: A song to pump up a crowd:

"Joker and the Thief," Wolfmother

Excellent choice.
I saw these guys before they blew up in popularity and it was one of the best concerts I ever attended. I drove to Newcastle with my new flatmate and we got rip roaring drunk together and ended up eating crackers in the shower of some random hostel together after the show.

Epic memory 🥰

Day 10: A song to pump up a crowd
I’ll go in a different direction. But this one is a staple at many games. This and Zombie Nation.
Darude: Sandstorm

I’ll beat the dead horse on the VA Tech taking the field. It was my first thought
Haha, so another great song.

This is in my favorites and my five year old chimes up last time it came on the radio with "but it sounds nothing like a sandstorm" and rolls her eyes.

Love that kid

Day 10: A song to pump up a crowd:

I'm sure you likely had some sportsing something-or-other crowd in mind. However, with my "crowd" this signals everyone to get ready to shake their a-s-s on the dance floor. If you don't like it, too bad, Miami me lo confirmó

La Gozadera(Salsa version)-Gente de Zona ft. Marc Anthony

So since my #1 was taken, there are so many ways I could go here. I'm going to go personal. On the heels of a National Title in 2002, Maryland basketball was the place to be. As a long time season ticket holder, in 2004, they introduced me to this song which was an anthem that pumped up the crowd for the rest of the Gary Williams era and the song and those teams are forever linked in my mind.

People like hockey? Who knew 😉

Obviously, you're just teasing... hockey is the best.
I luv many other sports, as well... but hockey's so good that you can't even go directly from watching it to watching another sport, or the other sport will seem like shit in comparison. You need to cleanse yourself with a sitcom or something, in between (lol)... then you can proceed 'safely'. We've even got pictures of kids playing hockey on our money up here...
"Les hivers de mon enfance étaient des saisons longues, longues. Nous vivions en trois lieux: l'école, l'église et la patinoire; mais la vraie vie était sur la patinoire.
The winters of my childhood were long, long seasons. We lived in three places—the school, the church and the skating rink—but our real life was on the skating rink."
P.S. I'm a terrible hockey player... and it's my shame as a Canadian (*hangs head*)...
