I like this one, because it reminds me of a bit of Leonard Cohen's body of work, balancing the sacred and sensual. It uses the religious imagery to describe the carnal one, and it doesn't exclude the negatives ("I'll worship like a dog at the shrine of your lies/I'll tell you my sins and you can sharpen your knife" is far from a positive look), but keeps the religious and sacrificial images. And he does it in condemnation of the current church - "Every Sunday's getting more bleak/ A fresh poison each week/"We were born sick", you heard them say it/My church offers no absolutes." Her response is come worship in the bedroom. There can be spirituality in carnality. Again, back to Cohen -- that is one of his foundations.Day 6
I really like this song despite my feelings on religion but I'm not sure if the song is anti or pro or somewhere between

You could have just tagged or messaged me!!Day 8: A song for a day without a prompt
Since I have no idea what today's prompt is, and I'm selfishly impatient (sorry, @morelikeasong) , I'm just going ahead and posting something. I thought about posting an eclipse-related song, but no. We mustn't dwell. No, not today. Not on Rex Manning Day.
Sorta? I think it counts.Day 8: A song that mentions the sun or moon

Well... the sun is a star. And name me a bigger star than Rex Manning. I'll wait.Thank you to everyone except @Whiskeyjack for waiting patiently.
If itโs past like 9am EST and I havenโt posted, feel free to PM or tag me. I probably forgot. Like today. I was busy withโฆ testing. One track mind.
