Matt Stairs plays for his twelfth major league organization when he flies out in a pinch-hitting role for the Padres in a 6-3 loss to Arizona at Chase Field, equaling Deacon McGuire's record (1884 to 1912) for the most teams ever played with by a position player. The 18-year veteran also joins pitchers Mike Morgan and Ron Villone for being on a dozen clubs.

Crazy game in Chicago.

Looking forward to watching the Royals tonight.

So dumb the Cardinals have an off day on a Friday.

Watched the Tigers today. The bullpen was tired from yesterday's games with the Mets. It does not get better as they do not have a break for awhile. Regardless, it was a good win.

Rays get 4 in the 9th and tie the game 6-6

You know Oakland is bad but Colorado is gonna be a close second.....

Red Sox up 5-1, fall apart defensively, score tied 5-5, then they win it 8-6. Good job, I think.

The list of pitchers on the IL is incredibly concerning with Shane Bieber now also getting TJ.
Is it the type of pitches being thrown? How hard they’re throwing? The pitch clock?

Crazy stuff

Certain pitches put more stress on your elbow, yes. Also your delivery can do the same if you're not properly balanced.

Spencer Strider could be next getting his elbow checked out today,I knew something was up he was only hitting 94-95 last night.

Hope you're doing well dear. 💯

Very true. I’ve seen some people blame both the pitch clock and the banning of sticky stuff which is interesting to say the least

At Fenway Park, Ron Blomberg of the Yankees becomes the first designated hitter in major league history. In the historic plate appearance, Boomer draws a first-inning bases-loaded walk on a 3-1 pitch off Luis Tiant and will become the first DH to get a hit when he singles in the third frame of the 15-5 Red Sox rout of the Bronx Bombers.
