I did try the Tabasco Siracha. It wasn't horrible. What I really miss is Chili Garlic Sauce and Sambal Oelek.

I’ve done overnight drives and had 3am gas station coffee. Switched to diet fountain soda after that first cup.

Oh, I love Sambal Oelek. You can really taste the chilies.

I still use the Huy Fong Siracha. Makes a great cocktail syrup too. Our local store carries the Huy Fong Chili Garlic Sauce, which I use when I am lazy (most of the time, if I'm being honest), but I found a great recipe for it as well.

I have used honey and Sambal Olek together with ginger and garlic in marinades for fish, chicken and “smashburgers”. If you let it sit just enough in the marinade the taste is amazing. And of course you can play with the concocktions (see what I did there huh!) to make a spicier or sweet hot taste.
