Coffee, great mountains, forests, high desert, The Columbia River Gorge, the Pacific Ocean, great beer, the best used bookstore in the world.

Come visit. I'll put you up. I'll sleep on the couch.

(I lived in the Midwest and East Coast. Even California, before I got kicked out of UCSC for not showing up to classes because I was surfing (totally not my fault). Tokyo, and Jamaica. I always move back here.)

Wow… that’s interesting. I only learned how to remember b vs d because of the word “bed” which I realized, looks like a bed. So since I was little, if I am not sure, I look at the word bed to remember which letter goes which way.

A lot has gone to crap, unfortunately. But living an hour from the mountains, beach, Gorge will always be worth it for me. (And I moved to Vancouver for tax reasons).

I think many of my family moved to Vancouver too.

And I miss the Gorge and going to the beach all the time, like I used to do before I moved there. But to me, Portland itself is a very different place, that I don’t ever want to see again. I’d rather remember it as it was.

Actually, my best friend still lives in Salem, so I have been back a lot, I just never go north to Portland when I visit her.

When I was very young, not sure what age, I saw my sister humping a pillow in bed, she didn't see me. I was curious. I tried it, I liked it. Had know idea it was sex, even if it was a pillow.
