Is that allergy symptoms or have you caught a cold?

I woke up in the morning with just 1/4 of normal about of spoons. Managed to sleep a few hours more, though, so now I'm up to 50%. Not that I'll still have enough to be that active.

I don't have pollen allergies, so I think it's a cold. I'm cramping like mad so it tracks, my immune system is compromised when I lose blood.

Seriously, men have it easy. I'm in a mood to have a word with the engineer who designed us

I didn't get a lot of sleep last night, as I was falling asleep I came up with a genius idea for work that I am currently doing. Why is it I always do this? I get bright ideas not during normal working hours but when I am about to fall asleep, needless to say I was excited the whole night. On the plus side it was still a good idea this morning

You know what's the plus plus of that? You still remembered it by the time you needed to do it!

Coming from someone who just went to the kitchen twice to wash some dirty mugs and still forgot the mug, that's an extreme plus

I don't know sir, I've never given birth so I can't say

And perhaps being in constant pain every month helps with lifespans. But sadly, I think it will be illegal to conduct an experiment on teenage boys to test this theory. Plus, I won't live long enough to write the results

Well, even menstruation pain can be just as bad as heart attack pain. Recordedly.

Childbirth is even more painful. I doubt any man would make it without extreme amounts of pain meds.

Not survive it.

The baby is doing great even though she came a month early.

Without ibuprofen I curl up several times each month, no "almost" there.

I have a couple of friends who may throw up or faint from pain, if they don't take their strong pain killers in time. I can at least still do with just 800mg ibuprofen + possibly 1000mg paracetamol..

Don't know about lifespans, but apparently those who have the bad menstruation pains find childbirth easier to deal with... The difference is smaller, and for once there's a good reason to it!

Is mom allowed to hold the baby? It might help with her recovery. And probably the baby's too, they can comfort each other. I heard even just feeling those little fingers take hold can be soothing.

Ouch, not too risk-free with that codeine. I can thankfully use ibuprofen still.

Really? Not even with another name? Surprising.

Not that it's as risk-free as some here think. It's easier on the stomach, but the one-time overdosage limit isn't high, it's easy to damage your kidneys badly. In an urgent hospital situation ibuprofen is sometimes used a lot more than it says on the package, I've heard - but not paracetamol.

Wifey was a registered nurse here and she says she never heard of paracetamol.
I'm assuming it's a strong version of Tylenol

No, it's just the same. Just a different name of the active ingredient. Paracetamol is sold in at least 2, probably 3+ strengths even in Europe, with different brand names.

Here too. There are just 3 pain meds you can buy without a prescription here: aspirin, ibuprofen and paracetamol.

But some women need prescription meds every single month. Some because freely sold meds are not enough, some because thwt
