Sex & Shenanigans

Well, and Joss.

I love Firefly, but I also think that the rise, fall, and what came after of Londo Mollari is one of the greatest character arc in television history. G'Kar's story is just as compelling. Add in the fact that it was carried out over five seasons is remarkable.

I agree with everything you said about Fox.

But it all comes down to what you love. And you can discuss that, but you can't discount it. Everyone loves what they love, and love is all valid.

Even Twilight.
I didn't mean to imply anything of the sort, I was just following the joking manner in which this all started this morning.

If you or someone took it badly, then my apologies.

I like Babylon 5 as well.

I simply don't rate it as high as Firefly is all.

Oh, no, I took no offense! I was just talking, and thinking about what the Monkey-boy said. I was agreeing with him as well.

HOLY COW what a contest win good for you..And thank you for the info about Nathan.
I also won a contest and got to speak to Lance Reddick(Broyles from Fringe).

What was supposed to be a 15 minute chat, ended up being an hour long talk, that had to be broken up by his agent.

We ended up exchanging phone numbers and texted a few times, before he passed away last year.

During the lockdown, I won a contest and got to Video Chat with Jewel(Kaylee) and Sean(Simon).

There is interest in a reboot by multiple studios because they know there is guaranteed fan ratings and money.

The problem with Nathan is that he's currently doing "The Rookie" and his doesn't want to "go back" and potentially ruin what is already a cult classic.
There are reasons there as well. One, Book and Wash being dead. Ron Glass passing as well.

But from a realistic standpoint, one of the reasons it is such a cult classic is that it ended far too soon. It never got it's "Go Fish," or "Where the Wild Things Are," or the last scene of "Apocalypse Nowish," to tarnish that. It never got a sophomore slump, or Buffy season 6 or 7. It never got what happened to Charisma Carpenter, and thus, what happened to Cordelia Chase. And I say all of that as an unrepentant fanboy of the BuffyVerse.

I HATED the "Walsh" character.
Yeah, Ron Glass passing away was sad. He was a big fan of a reboot.
Most shows do get a "sophomore slump", but I don't think Firefly would've had that happen.

For me only....the best thing about Buffy is Alyson Hannigan.
My god, that woman still makes my mouth water. ;):LOL:

I have crush on Alyson too!

Heh, so the reboot would fix what you didn't like about the show.

I was using Buffy as it was Joss's longest running series. Well, that and I love it, so I see the good and bad.

So as Joss is persona non grata, how do you think that would affect a reboot?

They would find a way to keep Alan involved. Probably using flashbacks.

I really did try to get into Buffy, and not just because of Alyson.:LOL::LOL:
To me.....it came across as cluttered and directionless.
It's entirely possible that I missed something as well.

While Joss is "persona non grata" as of right now, a reboot without him would still work.
The love fans have for the show, would carry it for multiple seasons, especially on a platform like Netflix.

So are they in the pool of people who should be stabbed in the eye by a needle infected with HIV?
Not exactly my finest moments.

You dug real deep into my "activities" to find that. (y) (y) (y)

You wanna hate me for my past, that's fine.

I hope you have a wonderful beginning of the week.

That was my last interaction with you. That and you sending direct malicious threats to me and through a third party. Oddly that’s doesn’t happen often, so it’s kind of memorable. I was hoping that behavior got you banned, I was disappointed it didn’t.
