Sex & Shenanigans

I totally disagree Firefly is much better..
Well, it is hard to compare a show with less than half a season of episodes, vs. something that legitimately pulled off an epic, fully realized five-year arc. Nothing had ever been done on that scale before. And JMS wrote 95% of the episodes. Joss never came close to that on any of his shows (and I love his work. Him on the other hand...)

I've made mistakes in the past.
I hope people forgive me.
However, I do not want them to forget.
I want them to remember and remind me, if I start heading down those paths of hurt again.
It's good to own your mistakes, absolutely. If that's truly what you're trying to do then I can respect that.

Here's the thing though: You literally told me to stick an AIDS needle in my eye and called me a cunt after I rightfully called you out for using the R-word (this literally happened. I saved the screenshot). It was jarring and upsetting. You came across as a genuinely unhinged, sad, and kind of horrifying person. A lot of these people don't know you like that but I do. If you want forgiveness you need to think about how you present yourself. And hopefully you're smart enough to understand that people aren't obligated to forgive you. But owning your shit is absolutely a start.

JMO and I respect others opinions.

What makes Firefly so great, is how invested you find yourself into the characters.
The performances by Nathan, Jewel, Morena, Adam, Sean, Alan, Gina, Summer, Ron are absolutely top notch.
One of the best of not just the Sci-Fi genre either.
The story telling is incredible.

The BS backstage drama(suits) and FOX completely mishandled scheduling.
Which they have since admitted.

The biggest hold up for a reboot, other than cost, is Nathan.

All very good points..

What have you heard about a Reboot? Why is Nathan against it?

Well, and Joss.

I love Firefly, but I also think that the rise, fall, and what came after of Londo Mollari is one of the greatest character arc in television history. G'Kar's story is just as compelling. Add in the fact that it was carried out over five seasons is remarkable.

I agree with everything you said about Fox.

But it all comes down to what you love. And you can discuss that, but you can't discount it. Everyone loves what they love, and love is all valid.

Even Twilight.

During the lockdown, I won a contest and got to Video Chat with Jewel(Kaylee) and Sean(Simon).

There is interest in a reboot by multiple studios because they know there is guaranteed fan ratings and money.

The problem with Nathan is that he's currently doing "The Rookie" and his doesn't want to "go back" and potentially ruin what is already a cult classic.
