Sex & Shenanigans

I haven’t ever seen the show, but I know that is Catherine O'Hara… but she doesn’t look like Catherine there… which kind of freaks me out. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I am going to add my voice to the choir here. It is a remarkable show. Catherine O'Hara and Eugene Levy. As a guy who grew up on SCTV, that itself is amazing. But add to it Eugene's kids, Sarah and Dan. And Dan is a fucking revelation in this role, a huge talent. The show is written so well that Chris Elliot is brilliant in it. So good. The first season is great, and gets things going, but by the start of the second they have it all dialed in and it soars. It is wonderful.

Are you not a fan of Chris Elliot? 😕

I loved him on Letterman back in the day. And I loved Get a Life, his surreal early-90s sitcom with his dad (shades of Schitt's Creek there). It was way ahead of its time. But writers and producers who hire him seem to throw him in and say "hey, do some of that Chris Elliot shit," and that wears. Oh, and Cabin Boy was just too much Chris (at too high a volume of Chris) for me.

Schitt's Creek gave him the ability to act in a character he wasn't driving. And he is really damn good at it. The Season 2 episode at the BBQ was just brilliant and can draw tears without taking away the comedy. I think his honest skills get wasted.

I understand that. I loved Get a Life. 😉

I was at a toll booth this morning and they asked me to cough up three dollars.

I told them I didn't have the money--I spent it all on hookers and blow!
