Well, it's a ladies only group because we got sick of the guys trying to make it all about technics, trying to gatekeep, and/or mansplain why (insert series here) is not worthy of collecting. Ladies spaces tend to be a little more fun & frisky than the co-ed ones, where guys tend to lose all their manners.

They tried to make a fun hobby a competition to see who could have the most, rarest, best, etc. and constantly put each other and others down. They're essentially hipsters of the geek world. I get it, I have an entire LEGO city, as well as 12 sets I have yet to assemble because of space, that are just sitting in their boxes in the closet under the stairs. And...more are on order, and that doesn't include the MOC's...it's a problem. However, my daughter just moved all of her remaining stuff into her apartment, so I might just dedicate her entire room to LEGOs. I'm adult, I do what I want!

Bricklink is a pretty safe/chill community, especially now that they are owned by LEGO. However, I stick to my ladies. They're fun.
