What about boysenberry, blueberry or raspberry???

I grew up making maple syrup, collecting sap, taking it to the sugar shack, boiling it down, eating it hot on freshly fallen snow.
We had songs about syrup. "The Maple Syrup Song." "Love and Maple Syrup." "Maple Syrup Time."
I never heard any songs about lingonberries.
Maple is the original. The best. The current and the once and future king.

the only issue I have with the scrambled eggs is they have no ketchup on them

No… ok .., well… yes, but no.


Ok .. so a professor of mine in university worked on a study about strawberries grown out of California.. and the only way to get enough strawberries to fulfil demand in the summer months is to pump the strawberries with ethylene which makes them ripen too quickly … this is why they are huge but white inside … and not particularly flavourful.

The only good strawberries are local grown … never, EVER buy California strawberries

I'm going to have to cut open a farm stand strawberry for you next time I get some

The pancakes. So that I can then push the rest of the plate away and only eat the pancakes.

(I would eat the strawberries too but the rest is not for me)

I pour the perfect amount per pancake and distribute it with a knife across the surface so it soaks in and not messy

I have seen those with the white on the inside and you are right, they are tasteless

I’m a lot better than I used to be with this. Things may touch and mix. And I do enjoy crafting the perfect bite with multiple foods on the fork.


But I do pour milk before cereal and have a special bowl that separates them
