I resisted when ereaders first hit the market and didn’t want one, but someone disregarded my preference and gave me one anyway as a gift. They were right.Not a fan of ebooks, but thats just me. Guess I might make a mess reading while eating.
I’ve realized there is a large convenience factor involved which isn’t a small thing when you travel a ton and have a penchant for reading really large books. I still remember I was reading Under the Dome when I got my first kindle…and promptly bought the ebook version as well.
I still buy lots of physical books, but when I travel the ereader is tagged in. I have most of my favorite books in both formats.
That is hilarious! I think since they released the Oasis (2018ish?) that is waterproof, they’ve also started adding that feature in other models.

I should look into an ereader. I use my iPad but that doesn’t quite work because I like dragging my finger along the page while I read since that lets me read faster. I can’t do that with this dang iPad since that makes it flip the page!
