😈✨🍺MrTenant's Tavern and Dungeon

Resources running low. You're trying to protect the energy or mental capacity you still have, and get annoyed when anything that threatens it. Which may be something as mundane as a phone ringing.

It takes a while, but I've had practise 🙄
Thank you 😊💜

You'd think I'd know this already but lately I've realised I don't know how to identify and describe a lot of my emotions.

You're one of the few people who is patient enough to help. I get a large amount of sarcasm otherwise 🤔

I once participated on a rehabilitation course for people with depression/anxiety, possibly also burnout, and I learned it there. It has helped me so much!

It was part of how they taught us to think of mental health as symbolic seasons (nothing to do with depression reacting to real seasons). "Spring" is the phase when you are full of energy and planning forward and and and... Then comes the "summer", things even out, and life is full. Even so full that actually the irritability slowly creeps in. And "autumn" is then when mental health crashes, depression steps in. "Winter" is actually recovery time, not doing much and taking time for yourself "by the fireplace when it snows outside". You cannot jump from autumn to spring, skipping winter. But you may sometimes, unfortunately, leap from winter to summer without having much spring. And if you're careful, you may succeed in preventing summer from turning into autumn.

It's not a fixed system, but thinking of them as seasons may help realising how they tend to progress and how they may cause each other.

Like what things?
You got me curious 😬
Well, @BrendaD can be counted as staff I guess... But there is are many of us others capable of pouring you a drink, or at least some coffee or tea. It depends. And there's food, too - I've had many a breakfast here!

Now in regards to dungeons, those can be rented. I don't know where the keys are, but Brenda does.

Oh and don't mind us telling @Rj_1954 off at times. That's a normal occurrence here. Or sending him to feed the Gossamer, he needs to be reminded constantly.

I wish I had recorded some of MrT's tours of this place... I'm not much of a guide tonight.

No problem a beer for now would be fine and some company to chat ☺️
Would you bring me one?
I don’t want to go behind the bar
Don’t know if Brenda would allow me to go behind it
