Good morning on this Spring ahead day. It will hit me tomorrow as I am now on morning drop off taxi fduty or my grandson.

Overnight we got some snow. The light snow will last no more than a day as the rest of the week will be 50F. It has been the warmest winter that I can ever remember. I have concerns about the summer heat and the effect of the early spring on the fruit crops here as the State is known for cherries and apples.

For me, the fall one is tough. I have seasonal affective disorder, so when we’re thrust into the darkness, it really messes with me. Like, one day I’m driving home from work and it’s light out and the next it’s pitch black. And knowing that the sunlight gets even more scarce till winter solstice on Dec 21 doesn’t help.

That is interesting that the fall back affects you more than the spring forward. I think you are correct about the SAD being the key factor. You are photosensitive and need the daylight. I have a friend who moved from Canada to Arizona as it helped his wife who has SAD.

I am nore affected by the spring forward as I feel the same as when I have jet lag. I am an early riser which may have something to do with it.

I have to have sunlight. In the dead of winter I’ll sometimes got for a walk at lunchtime just to feel the sun hit my bald head.

Sometimes I just need it. (This is sex site after all)

Seriously, it is a need and I’ve learned to cope and luckily it’s not too bad. I also take vitamin D morning the winter, but try to get plenty of natural sunlight, which gives d as well.

Count me in as one who votes for ONE time! I personally like Standard Time. It feels more in line with what the almighty intended! 🤣. Savings time feels like we’re tinkering with nature as someone upstream mentioned.
 
I can delay the inevitable!

Today I woke up in Arizona where they wisely ignore this DST crap and live as freemen under a natural sun year round in harmonious bliss with the heavens.

But I have to go home and time chaos.

I'm sure I'm the evil one! 😅😅 I have trouble with sleep so this abrupt change is hard for me. It was especially hard when I was working. Fall doesn't seem to bother me as much.
