Man, I’m working from home today after a brutal a few weeks. Meetings all day, and it looks beautiful out.

But now I had two meetings cancel, and the rest of my afternoon is open. I just went for a short walk outside and it’s 55 and really nice and sunny.

Tomorrow is supposed to be an absolute downpour… 🙁

Whatever you guys do this weekend, make sure you have fun!!!
The downpour came today. Glad you enjoyed the good weather!

This weekends plans include taking our younger kids down to Olympia so they can see some of the work being done for this years Procession of the Species, and then tomorrow my 9 yo has a soccer match that my wife and 8 yo may not want to go to because it will be raining, and then I’ll be slow cooking some ribs for dinner (have to get my dry rub on them tonight).

Sunday will likely start with grocery shopping for the week. Then I get to show the younger kids how I make chicken pot pie so my wife can take pictures for the family year book as well as put the recipe in there.

And then sometime we should be trying to get our axe throwing Groupon used I bought for my wife for Christmas before it expires on the 16th!
Sounds like a busy but fun weekend!

Especially chicken pot pie and axe chuckin’.

Copy that. When I was

Make sure she is in a good mood when it comes to axe chucking

We get the rain tomorrow, so I’m moving all my indoor activities up to tomorrow.

Tomorrow: visiting my mom (she’ll be 95 in a couple of weeks!), clean the house.

Sunday: splitting firewood general work at the farm and picking up a brand new second hand elliptical machine. My current one is almost dead. But it doesn’t owe me a dime, I’ve had it for years and it’s done good service.

Maybe it will. A little physical activity, goes along way.

My wife and I were thinking of creating a destruction room several years ago. Just a place we can beat the shit out of and break stuff.

Since I’m an insurance, I’m sure the liability would’ve been completely overwhelming… but I’m a big believer in chaos and breaking things!

Well, it was her doctor who suggested it to help regulate her periods better, but I figured once she started taking it she’d become sexually active (because she isn’t in the habit of making the best choices in her life as it is).
, and I was right.
At least she waited until she was protected.

Copy that. When I was in my 20s I was living at the beach in Southern California, making what felt like good money in my first post-college job, driving my first new car (t-top Camero), and kids were the last thing on my mind. Then one evening I went on a date with a girl I’d just met at work. Less than three months later, we were 8 weeks pregnant, married, and had bought a house in the suburbs. This month marks our 39th anniversary.
Congratulations! 🥳 🎉

Probably dinner fri night and then lunch and sams club tomorrow... fave time is in the car driving we just talk and talk
Those kinds of relationships are priceless!

I have a friend in Canada whom I call my gay boyfriend. We have marathon video call sessions! When we aren't talking, we're texting.

It was nice and partly sunny today. I was able to wear my favorite sunglasses to the gym! Rain this weekend...

I'm glad you were able to get out to enjoy the nice weather!

Axe throwing coupon? 😳😳 You'll be out of the way, right? RIGHT???

Rain for us this weekend. 🌧 🌦
Rain is better than snow, but I can’t complain too much. Only had to use my snowplow once, for about an hour, this winter on our roads near hood canal. Last year I think I ran it for 30 or 40 hours. One sequence of storms the year before that, ran it for 40+ hours over a single week long period. Temps might hit the mid 60’s at the end of next week. Time to break out the swim suits! LOL 🌞

What’s all this talk about bad weather? I had an overnight in Sacramento last night and the weather was great out here! Glad I’m on the backside of all the bad stuff!

Hope all are having a nice weekend. Some of us have to work😭.

We all have spring fever
Guilty as charged!!!

Can't wait for this week with day lights savings time occurring tomorrow meaning we're all gonna start enjoying later sunlight in the afternoons!! Sun is still gonna be up around 630ish to 700ish so something to look forward to 🙂

Granddaughters dance recitals tomorrow. All day event with dance studios throughout the region performing and competing. Ages 2 through high school seniors, group performances and individual performances, variety of styles, mostly girls but some confident boys too. They all work hard to prepare for these events and it shows on stage. The costumes and makeup are amazing (and expensive) and the kids love it. We go to see our grands (7 and 3) of course, but enjoy all the performances.

The only bummer we’ve gotta get up real early tomorrow. The event starts at 9 am, it’s an hour away, and we lose an hour to daylight savings. It’ll be worth getting out of bed early tho.

I hate it when "daylight savings time" cuts in to my beauty rest too!
