I love that expressionI like the cut of your jib, sir!
That could be - Ben Gazera scene? Yeah!Is it road house? When the old man invites Patrick Swayze over before he kills the nephew??
23/25. I’m old. Thanks for that
Har! I don't remember one cent postage stamps, but my grandfather remembered when the postman forded the creek on horseback upstream from the cabin where my father was born. How about....

a 10 year old boy didn't know how to climb a tree? Smh.....
A couple of days ago, I cautioned a 10-year-old boy against climbing a particular tree that's dying and needs to come down. He just shrugged and told me he didn't know how to climb trees. It made me sad. But I also secretly think that maybe we need more bears around here.![]()
Well, you know, times change and skill sets change to suit the times. We evolve (or don't). But how can a boy look at a tree and not simply want to climb it? I'm baffled by the concept. But I'll try to figure it out.a 10 year old boy didn't know how to climb a tree? Smh

Some automotive stores still sell leaded gas in half gallon additives for antique cars.Har! I don't remember one cent postage stamps, but my grandfather remembered when the postman forded the creek on horseback upstream from the cabin where my father was born.
I do remember going to the S & H store with my mom, and the general disgruntlement over the tyranny of unleaded gas.

I’ll have you know, my car is the same age as I am! And it is… . okay, yeah, it’s probably considered an antique car. There are additives available as a lead substitute. I have a much stronger motor in mine than what it came with originally, so, it has different requirements anyway. Some automotive stores still sell leaded gas in half gallon additives for antique cars.
@BrendaD might know, she has a antique car
My great grandfather had old cars, he tinkered with.I’ll have you know, my car is the same age as I am! And it is… . okay, yeah, it’s probably considered an antique car. I don’t think my family has much history with cars at all… my mom never even learned how to drive a stick. But my sister, myself and my brother all can. But I am the only one who is a car nut. They are mostly just transportation for everyone else. If it wasn’t for the DNA test, I’d swear I must have been adopted. My great grandfather had old cars, he tinkered with.
My grandfather had junkers he rebuilt
My father drove a Model T Ford & ultimately a newer Ford car
My brother worked in a junkyard and rebuilt cars as a hobby
And I drive cars until their junk, because I don't enough to repair them, go figure...
My father once spotted a Model A Ford sitting in the woods on a farm, recognized its potential value, bought it for $25 or $35, and hauled it home to sell for $350. I still feel a shiver of embarrassment when I recall being a kid and proudly explaining this scheme . . . to the man he was trying to sell it to.My great grandfather had old cars, he tinkered with.

I still have aspirations to build a 30 or 31 Model A two door (Tudor) sedan hot rod. Probably won’t ever do it… but I like to pretend I might. My father once spotted a Model A Ford sitting in the woods on a farm, recognized its potential value, bought it for $25 or $35, and hauled it home to sell for $350. Sorry, I have no cock pics to share. And the only one that brings me happiness is my own anyway. Instead, I give you Game Night!

Is this a published campaign or a homebrew?
It started as Dragons of Icespire Peak, but once we finished that we kept going as a homebrew, but still within the Forgotten Realms setting.
Stop it! You guys know my weakness for nerdsLove it. I haven’t played in MONTHS
Mrow?Babies are the worst monsters in gaming history. Then cats.

That happens to me sometimes too, what the fuck is up with that?!?Argh. Lit is only letting me like this post instead of hearting it. I'm not being passive aggressive, I promise. Just having technical difficulties here
Pssst…have you researched former LA King Alex Iafallo?I just love that it's constantly moving, the action doesn't stop. Even my TikTok algorithm knows I like hockey, it's full of hockey players doing stretches. I watch them closely, for science.
NO. #GoKingsGo and gimme some nachosYou guys... it's cheese or hockey. We gotta choose.
Hmmm…I’d have a very different life if I had stayed healthy. Knowing now how things went with my last live-in ex-BF and ex-fiancé…let’s say they’re both “if you can’t love me at my worst, you don’t deserve my best” situations, so I wouldn’t want to retroactively restore my health back when I was with either of them. I suppose I’d want to be healthy now.If you could change just one thing about your life, what would it be and why?
Fun trash can be fun, but I draw the line at “reality” TVFun trash is my favorite type of entertainment
Mrow?Everyone loves a good brat![]()
He also voices one of my favorite characters in FFXIV!It means Jonathan Bailey in anything.
It’s “White People Taco Night”!All I know of Ortega is the “white people tacos” song
I vaguely remember going to an LA Blades (roller hockey) game at The Forum in the 90s where they played against the Ottawa Loggers. I don’t think either team exists anymore thoughI became an Ottawa fan because in the early 90's a whole bunch of northern cities (where hockey *should* be played) lost their teams to swamp cities and desert cities in the south. Ew. So I decided I'd support the one team they added in Canada where the sport belongs.
Loved Sandman! Except for 1 episode. I’ve never been a fan of 1-room episodes that usually mean a show is trying to keep their budget down. They’re my least favorite type of Doctor Who episodes tooI need to watch it still…. And also sandman
I didn’t read the books and enjoyed the show. My roommate read several of the books when he was younger, but said he stopped around the time it became clear the author was only churning out more books for more money, not because he had a compelling story to tell. IIRC, I think @RuneBlade had nicer things to say about the books though? How necessary is it to have read the books (or at least know the background story) of Wheel of Time before watching the show? The show looks interesting (not least because I'm madly in lust with Rosamund Pike). But I don't have time to read 12,000 pages of novel these days.
I did. It had some good moments. If you liked that, you might also like Joss Whedon’s series The Nevers, which was cancelled after 1 season.Did anyone watch Carnival Row?
With set up and takedown?. 90 minutes is my sweet spot these days. Jits need to find someone else local who bought it and isn’t a weirdo.
View attachment 2324687lmao just gotta find someone who's "weirdo" meshes with your own.. I mean none of us are really normal are we?
Mrow?I think you just want to get punished!![]()
Even if the ending is happy I get a bit overwhelmed by a really good book ending. Need to read something empty like a comic book or something for a while afterwards. Like a reverse mental palette cleanser. If it’s a sad ending….ugghh even worse.
But also, man it’s great when art makes you feel something.
A few months ago, I read a book that was pretty devastating in the 2nd half, and then kinda let the reader really wallow in the depression for quite a while before pulling into a neutral ending. It was an experience. The ending was good… but the content was so .. real… I feel raw.. like a nerve has been ripped free of my body and is just hanging there.. exposed.
Mrow?I love whatshername… she has amazing tits!!!
