I will try this, however I don’t buy Kraft American singles. Usually have Land-O-Lakes or Boars Head white American slices in the deli meat drawer. It’s best for melting on a breakfast sammy.

I think I’m gonna go with sourdough and Muenster

Over the weekend I made some great grilled cheese - thick sliced brioche, lacy Swiss, and smoked pulled pork. Grilled with European style butter. Perfect combination of sweet, salty, tangy, and smokey flavors.

If I was going fancy/artisanal that's probably what I would do. I usually do multiple cheeses. But I generally lean towards sharp cheddar.
