What’s your most controversial opinion?

Dearest Madam V,

I am not as clever a writer as you, as we know you have a gift for storytelling. Perhaps an agreement can be reached to keep my standing. I will make my next cup of tea in this asinine way you have described. Should it prove to ruin my cuppa, I shall hear no more of this nonsense. Should it improve the taste, I will shout my apologies to all who are near and take any punishment deemed appropriate.

Cheers,
Mx Knight

Dear Mx Knight

This shall suffice. Is that enough of a response, sir Jonas? No, don't write down this par- You're wasting paper! JONA-

Determining the right amount of milk before the tea has steeped was difficult. I shall continue the experiment but this cup tastes too much of milk and not enough of tea. Perhaps if you like an early gray or london fog this would be the superior preparation, but I must try with less milk next time. If I dare waste another teabag on your foreign ideas. That poor sir Jonas, kind but not your brightest scribe.

Please don't take me out of the will.

Good one. Aren't you the "There's no such thing as hate speech" guy?

You can fuck the hell off with this misogynist bullshit.

I fucking hate that people feel free to come in here and say genuinely horrible things.

Well, good fucking thing you’re not someone I’m remotely concerned with impressing or attracting.

I loved them when I was a kid. But, yeah, they are pretty horrible.

No woman gives a fuck what you think.

As stated above… no woman gives a flying fuck what you think.
A lot of women on here proving my point.

Dear V and Mx Knight

As someone who lives in England, can I suggest that you are both correct and actually it more depends on the water quality where you live.
If you live in a 'hard water' area, then you should indeed put the milk in first, as it counteracts the effect of the hard water on the tea.
However if you live in a soft water area, it makes absolutely no difference.

Can I also point out that the word is 'scone' and not 'scone'.

I hope this finds you well

Regards

Ms Lust.

PS tea is shite, stick to coffee
PPS you're welcome. 😉

I was in board with this until your PS. Tea is fabulous.

I'm out of wordplay! Halp. My mind is blank and the crowd is laughing.

I usually drink spicy tea. Yogi ginger and black pepper. There's something about the burn that is so incredibly addictive. Infusing the milk on it's own, first, kind of brings the spice level up a notch. So, sorry if I made you waste a bag! Haven't tried this with classic ones.

Well you're definitely out of the will now 😤
but thank you for the trivia, I had no idea!

Huh. I live in an area with horribly hard water. I think I will try it again then with less milk. Coffee and tea are both delicious. I will not choose.

I drink black irish tea so the milk helps temper the acidity and then I add a bit of sugar. Definitely didn't make me waste a bag! It tasted pretty similar to when I put in too much milk anyways so now I am curious if I get the ratio right how it will taste. But I needed a redemption cup after my experiment. and also, i definitely was out of creative ways to respond so I'm glad we dropped the letters 🤣

Or.. you could forego the milk and put in a little honey and have a nice cup of tea.
Man får ha båda! 🤗

I fucking hate that people feel free to come in here and say genuinely horrible things.
Toads are clearly superior to common frogs. Not only are they cuddlier, they are also louder. And, more often than not, less poisonous. There is a hierarchy in the amphibian kingdom, and you will just have to learn to live with it.

But frog legs are delicious. Therefore since they are edible, they are superior to toads.

:p
