๐ŸŽต Monthly Song Challenge ๐ŸŽต

Thank you all for the well wishes! Iโ€™m on the mend. TBD if Iโ€™ll be back around today but definitely doing better.
I canโ€™t remember the last time I was that sick that wasnโ€™t self induced (aka hangover). Brutal.

Anyway, now Iโ€™m up way too early with the baby so hereโ€™s todayโ€™s prompt

Day 15: An anti-love song
So glad you are feeling a little better

Such an underrated album. Its only real sins were not being quite as good as the predecessor (a totally unfair bar!) And incel nerd anger over Shirleyโ€™s hair.
Remember the Daria movie? "Breaking Up the Girl" was featured on it. "Is it College Yet?" is burned into my brain along with that song.

Cherry Lips is one of my faves. ๐Ÿ’—

Ahhhh. Crap. I accidentally broke the rules... ๐Ÿฅบ๐Ÿฅบ๐Ÿฅบ

Is it a bad sign that I seemingly have many more songs in my music collection that fit today's theme than the previous "love" theme?

The Smiths - Unhappy Birthday

It could be a bad sign cos me too ๐Ÿ˜‚
Catching up:

Song to your friends:

Rupert Everett's sing-along ๐Ÿ˜ป The best part of that movie hands down.

I have such a crush on Storm. Sheโ€™s a goddamn icon.
Had the joy of watching her for years. In Dante's, all of us dripping with sweat when the AC died. With Pink Martini, showing what beauty and class sounded like. On stage as Sally Bowles in Cabaret. Hell, I even love "Ladylike." The way she sings "word to your mother -- she's stunning!" sends chills up my spine.

And I love this quote: "The other part about crossing the mid-century mark in life, is you start losing things. You almost don't notice at first...but pretty soon, you're in your fifties, scratching your head looking around muttering, 'You know, I used to have a whole lot of fucks...but I am damn near all out.'"

Yep, love her.

Oh, me too! And that is completely ignoring my "blues" section -- because counting those would just be silly. I would have had a hard time choosing, but I have had mine in my pocket for a while.
