What’s your most controversial opinion?

Atheists can be dicks too, religion doesn’t own homophobia anymore than it owns marriage.
I had a girlfriend once who anytime I sneezed would say "I'd say bless you, but I don't believe in God." I mean that's fine and good but kind of a douchey way to insert your atheism.

But yes, atheists can be dicks, is what I'm saying.

your opinion surely is controversial… I personally don’t believe that someone who is as idiotic as Trump has shown himself to be, is fit to be a leader of anything.

But what you said below is more accurate… in all reality it makes no difference who is president, who is in congress…. It’s all just rich, capitalists who only care about money and power.
@Superfungurl 's opinion isn't controversial.
Idiotic, certainly. Moronic, unquestionably. Showing a lack of self-respect? The man treated women like 2nd class citizens his entire life and in his final political act of living his life as a 1950s man, he stacked the court to legislate control over women's reproductive rights.
There is nothing super or fun about this.

This is why I go hard against the "both sides are the same" bullshit. This is simply not true. Real damage has been done by the right. Women's rights have been damaged, and queer rights continue to be under attack. It was the right that led the January 6th raid. Where's the left equivalent of that?

Then you see idiotic yammering like what was posted and you realize whatever President Scroob has done has worked. He's cast his spell on the non-critical thinkers. And the rest of us have to suffer word barf.

The one defense I will provide in the "both sides are the same argument" Is that having been involuntarily immersed in that world for the last decade+, Once you get into politics on a national level (even state in some instances), you are twistier than a ducks dick, and you sell yourself more than any two dollar meth whore ever has.

Do not havecany faith that the people you are voting for the things that are important to you are doing it out of any sense of moral obligation to their constituents. Pick your team of demons, but remain cynical

Healthy cynicism is perfectly fine and necessary, absolutely. And voting overall is a chess move, not a love letter. I have no doubt there are plenty of people on any and all sides that aren't truly in it to be helpful. That's not going to change the way I vote though.

I still think "motherfucker" is one of the best curse words ever. It is so satisfying to say casually or rage-filled.

And I will continue to make it my life's goal to make "fatherfucker" just as popular. It's 100% sexist that fathers don't get the same "fucker" love that mothers do.

Hell, Lit spellchecker STILL underlines "fatherfucker" but not "motherfucker". That is inexcusable!

Rant over. Peace out, fatherfuckers!

I don't think it's that controversial tbf but I really don't love these frivolous random days where I am obliged to buy my partner (valentine's), mother (mother's day) etc. A card and gift etc. I am actually a huge gift giver but I don't like the pressure of these dates and days, I like to spoil people all the time, I feel these days are so manufactured and it takes a way my true feelings or cheapens it for me almost.
