50s to present. It's hard to pinpoint best because all my personal favorites range far and wide. 90s is kinda *my* decade though. So maybe that's my answer.

The funniest part of this for me is I despise paper clips and immediately remove and throw away any that make it to my desk. Paper clips are horrible and lead to nothing but misery.

All of them. Seriously, I just LOVE music. Every decade contributed something to what we hear today. If I had my choice, I'd probably go with 60's Motown as the best. But then that discounts and diminishes the doo wop of the 50's, or the disco & light rock of the 70's.

Whether it's an operatic Habañera or Trent Reznor wanting to fuck you like an animal, it's all of a piece.
