There's so many to choose from in various colors but go with the standard rope and it should suffice. My wife and I just started using ropes in our intimacy earlier this year and granted we don't use them all the time since we have kids here at home but when we do use it ummm it's a very interesting evening for the obvious reasons

You might like to start with silk rope emme8. try 3 or 5m first, that is about 10-15ft.

I actually like this rope. When you first buy it, it is stiff and unwieldy with lots of line memory. However, if you snip off both ends and pull out the filler in the middle, then melt the ends to secure it, it becomes soft and supple, great for practicing ties. Without the filler, it also lays flat, which looks good when making multiple passes.
