Day 14: A song for when you’re feeling grumpy

I guess I'm weird. I don't like to dwell in negative feeling, so most of the "Pissed Off" Playlist that I listen to when I'm grumpy is full of songs to feel good and move past it.

Shake it Out-Florence and the Machine

Day 14: A song for when you’re feeling grumpy

When I have the low down blues because my computer is frozen, the SUV needs a washing badly, the cable is out , I don't have any whisky over 10 years old, and Sirius XM is stuck on the Mariah Carey Christmas Channel, I haul out my CD player, blow on the heads, and slip this in:

This recording is Albert King (God, I love that Flying V) with Stevie Ray Vaughan. Yes, really! Albert frigging King and Stevie Ray Vaughan together playing Stormy Monday. It was recorded December 6, 1983 at an independent TV station in Hamilton, Ontario. for a show called "In Session" which somehow attracted the most amazing artists over the years. Can you imagine just stumbling on 90 minutes of this at 3am? There's a link to the full session on the YT page.

Hey @BrendaD could you hold that bass line as good as that guy for nine minutes? or for most of the 90 minutes: he's perfect). He must be on autopilot because his mind is trying to process who he is playing with.

OMG! That is overflowing with tasty!! 🥰🥰🥰🥰

The bass player is doing some interesting stuff too - behind those two legends… awesomeness!

Edit: I was pondering why Stevie wasn’t playing his usual beat up Strat… then realized, it is sitting right there behind him, on a stand. 🤣🤣
