Sex & Shenanigans

Oh yes. Absolutely recommend. Mine has hit the mind and body high stage (which I don’t always get) and I’m loving it.

Schitt’s creek is basically the only thing I’d do a gif war over. It’s just too good.
Such a good show…. One of my favourites

Adderall is what you want. Thats what all the kids do. Safer too.

I didn't agree to be medicated for ADHD until 3 years ago. I was waiting for this energy/euphoria that never came. I brought up the lack of extra energy at my checkup a month later. She was like, ya, you only get that if you don't have ADHD. well shit. I thought I was going to get a buzz for once!

This is what our doctor said is one of the best ways to confirm an ADHD diagnosis. I can say trying to figure out the dosage, on your child, can be nuts. With my youngest we icreased his meds and he was fully spinning. He called me 17 times to make sure he could wear his new shorts to the beach.

It was so bizarre. The right dose evened him out too much and it was like he was on crank.

Just got home a while back - only to notice I dropped my phone in the car. My old classmates rental car, that is, and it's going towards the capital atm. And I'm exhausted anyway.
It wasn't in the car!!! Another classmate (also in that car) called my number and some teens found it on the side of the bus top where I jumped off, i had already been to search but the phone was on the side, hidden in a heap of snow!

I wanted to be on the lowest dose possible. They started me at 20, and I hyperfocused waaaaaay too much. If it was legal here, I'd pay to have 12.5mg mixed up at the compound pharmacy. But, I'm stuck at 15

One of my friends is waiting for psilocybin treatment to be possible here as well, for her husband. Just here the system is even ridiculously strongly against anything that's been a illegal drug so far. They rather make you use pretty much any conventional drug if it works for you, no matter if it doesn't work as well or if you get worse side effects...

I'm on too much medication already.
I lost a good friend to that kind of medication years ago. Luckily my therapist is alright with me not doing more meds.
Ya gotta find what works for you.
Otherwise, good morning everyone. :)

Mine too - they don't even really work on me. But with major depressive syndrome (I assume that's what it is) it's really about trying to find something that helps.

Isn't it also the point to have therapy then, with the psilocybin opening new possibilities in mind.
Yes, studies with veterans PTSD show that the hardest thing for them is connecting with a therapist, because if the therap8st hasn't seen active combat they don't feel like the therapist has any idea what they've been through. However, cthe psilocybin hotwires that connection, makes them feel open and less vulnerable, more able to connect with the therapist & process their trauma.

By trip-sitter, I mean a therapist. She a medical doctor, not a counselor

And with many other issues it's that the thought paths may be so damn stuck...

(Peer support seems to be favoured among veterans, it just isn't therapy which you need with ptsd...)
Yes, my SO works to try to get legislation through on a state & national level to support first responders and veterans with PTSD. The research is there, we just need to get over old fashioned opinions on what is currently considered alternative medicine

My late husband worked with the national peer support things for peace keeper veterans. To get the support phone a continuous funding, and to make it known for new generations of recruits - and their families, which may have hard time with the spouse away (or if the returned vet is having difficulties). It works on a voluntary basis here, but the phone system itself costs.
