We were a very big deal I 1985, as one of the first families in the neighborhood to get a VCR. This was the first movie we owned, and we wore it out. I still have a bit of a phobia about what's floating in my soup.

I'm sure there are many more I've seen that I was too young to remember, but my family has never let me forget that my little kitten self was dancing in the aisles of the theater during Dirty Dancing. Google says I had just turned 4 when it came out.

So many, but The Muppets Take Manhattan in particular. Baby Kitten used to line up all her Muppets plushies in front of the TV to watch with her. There's one scene that frequently left 2-year-old me INCONSOLABLE I won't link that scene, but here's the overall trailer.

Hmmm.......when I was a child there was no VCR. I was 15 when the first one turned up at a friends home. we got it 2-3 years later. So I couldn't put a movie on repeat as the children do today. But if I could it would probably be this I think. It was a favorite of mine!

For some reason my parents thought this was appropriate viewing for a very very small child. Mercifully I can't remember a lot of it. Just lots of rabbits with red eyes swirling around.

Day 1: Pinocchio when they released it in the 80s.
Day 2: My aunt had her faves on VideoDisc so I saw Star Wars, The Last Unicorn, Clue, Wizard of Oz, etc a million times.
