I was at a huge party on Y2K, and just at midnight someone cut the power to the entire building. I seriously thought I was going to die before I turned 20
December 31, '99, I woke up well and ready to witness the collapse of civilization. However, I started getting sick early that afternoon and I declined quickly. By 10 that night, I had the worst chills and fever I had in the entire decade! I was determined to stay up till 12 to see what would happen. Midnight came and went, nothing happened, and I went to bed.
A small group of my friends and I went to a house party at a rural location. We figured if the shit hit the fan, that would be a better place to be.
