Day 22: A song from your favorite band
Which band? I have too many favorites, to pick just one! I mean my Jazz Instrumental favorite is completely opposite from my favorite Classic Rock, Soft Rock, Hair Bands, Country (Old or Newer), or Opera. Don't even get me on 80's pop, or 90's rap. Alternative & Pop Punk, to Lets not even consider Reggaeton, Cumbia, Bachata, Salsa or Latin Pop in general...there's just too many songs favorite bands!...but if I can only post one, I'll go with my all time favorite band and the album I could play on repeat

I like your taste in music. Good for you that you just posted one song......... :ROFLMAO:

I have been a little crazy but I look forward to catching up on everyone's selections. Once again, favorites are impossible but here goes: my immediate thought was Mr. Brightside and the Killers because that song always puts me in a great mood. But I can't avoid the greatest combo of musician/lyricist/performer of my generation and while it my not be his best song, it's a song that needs to be played more and especially right now:

Day 22: A song from your favorite band

Damn, yesterday was so busy around here that I missed posting entirely, and I am catching up now... but my favourite band (Led Zeppelin) was already taken, along with some excellent runner-up choices. Great selections yesterday, everyone!
So I decided to go with a favourite band that has a more "local" flavour. And this song contains one of the most underrated slices of Canadiana:

"Building up to the larger point/ With an arrogance not rare or pretty/
We don't declare the war on idleness/ When outside it's cold and shitty"

The Tragically Hip - Titanic Terrarium

Day 23: A song you’d want to hear at a concert

You told us that we could have some fun with the themes, so for this one I'm hopping in the DeLorean... because I don't just want to see a specific band, I want to see them at this concert that I watched as a teen.
'Teenage-me' was completely mesmerised by Hope Sandoval... and actually watching this now I'm still finding her pretty captivating...

Mazzy Star - Fade into You

So many choices here. I’ve seen a ton live and so much more I’d love to see. But went with a band I have seen live, but they have so many albums since this one that I didn’t get to hear this, and love this song so much, would be amazing live.

I haven't listened to them in a long, long time!

Day 23: A song you’d want to hear at a concert
I can't come up with any song that could beat this experience I had at Ullevi in Gothenburg 1985. Bruce Springsteen played Twist and Shout as last song at the concert and we were 65000 people singing, clapping and jumping. (Not La Bamba, just Twist and Shout, but it was the only clip I could find) They had to close the arena for six years after that concert because we broke the concrete that hold the seats.......

Def one of my music crushes in the 90s! Great choice.
