Wat's Guns-N-Stuff Thread

There are still a lot of lever guns out there doing lever gun things and popping out .30-30WCH slugs and killing deer out in the woods. I respect that. It works, it ain't broke, and it don't need fixin'.

The 7.62x39 is an odd duck. For utility's sake, I think of it as being kinda similar to the 5.56 NATO out to maybe 200 yards. The 5.56 has some ass out past 300 yards, but by 400 yards, the 7.62 is in the dirt. So if you don't have too far to shoot, kinda like the old thirty-thirty, it'll get the job done for many of the same reasons. Wat has an AK and an SKS in the rack. Neither is used much, but neither is going anywhere, either. I do prefer the AR to the AK platform.

From my house Out West, I sincerely doubt that I have a clear line of sight for a 400 yard shot in any direction.
There is not many places here on the mountain with a clear line of shot over a couple hundred yards including down the road! Hell I can't see well enough that far anyways without a scope.

Relevance to you constant homophobic posts to me. Fucking hypocrite...First to call others out on their Bull Shit, also first to ignore your own hate filled, biased, prejudiced Bull Shit towards me. It's absolutely hilarious how much space I own in your feeble little liberal brain. I can't ever post with out you and the rest of your yappy dog posse pouncing on me.

Admit it...I own you bunch of wimps. Party on...I can ignore you too because you have become boring, repetitive, and even more ridiculous with every post you make to me.
Hey, thanks for ignoring me with yet another defensive post.

The AK is perfect for me, cheap ammo and works in the dirt. I bought A LOT of ammo at .20 per round. In Vietnam LRRPS carried AK's.

I hear you. I'm shopping for a 2nd scope. Looking forward to doing a bit of sighting in next trip Out West.

No wasting shots on long range shooting for me. AK47 to a hundred yards out and then as the distance closes, buckshot. THAT is why I like the deep woods. Around here a shot over fifty yds. is a treat unless you are looking down the road.
Hundred yards and/or deep woods, perfect .30-30 or AK range. ;)

My Inner Cynic says that at least half that shortage shit is contrived. No matter the "reason," the looting continues.
When you see this shit happening it's no wonder the lack of supply is driving up prices:

I'm no huge fan of green-tip, but that sucks. Just for supply, in general.

This ammo shortage sucks! I voted for House Republicans because they promised me that they would tackle this rising inflation. What am I to do but blame Sleepy Joe 😡.

Here’s food for thought dipshits - inflation is down and the economy is booming at levels not seen before. Call me a liar all you want but the numbers don’t lie.

The truth is, these rising costs are in many instances companies price gouging consumers. My sympathies though are with families struggling to buy eggs and not with you privileged idiots.

Damn, I hadn't thought or read about that dude in forever. Nice factoid from the past!
Oooooh! Oooooh!
Are we sharing heroes now?
Please, lemme now give you my childhood idols!

I bet you can’t ever guess what all 4 had in common. 😘😘😘😘

They gave you a need to seek the attention and approval of others and a deep rooted need for a multiracial 5-way where you're the pivot-man?
Hmmmmmm.
That’s some food for thought but, nope.
Wrong guess.
