Colorado Will Not Be Allowed To Deny Trump Access To Their Presidential Ballot

no, we all saw it on TV.
You didn't "see" Trump committing insurrection on TV. You heard TV Talking Sphincters say he did and because you are too lazy to emerge from between their intellectual cheeks to discover any other clue, you believed it.

please link me to the exact text that states he will definitely be on the march ballot. thanks.
The Court’s ruling doesn't explicitly state that Trump will definitely be on the March ballot. You have to connect the dots between the stay order and the CO election calendar. Trump will be on the Colorado March ballot.

Well, it WAS "republicans" that challenged Drumpfs eligibility in Colorado, so…

🙄

Of course, NOW it’s being spun by the usual suspect gaslighters as an attack from the "Liberal run Deep State".

🙄

I’m of the mind that, yeah, a corrupt orange traitor that CLEARLY fomented and participated in an insurrection against the United States WHILE PRESIDENT should definitely be barred from ever holding ANY office again.

I’m also of the mind that the point should be moot, because a corrupt orange traitor that CLEARLY fomented and participated in an insurrection against the United States WHILE PRESIDENT should have been tried and executed by now.

*nods*

I wasn’t aware who brought the initial challenge. Thanks for the info. And yes, instigating an insurrection to overthrow and election should be automatic grounds to disqualify (or disbar 😏). Even banana republics understand that basic rule.

oh you poor thing. caught lying again.

The Colorado Supreme Court ruled that Trump attempted to overturn the 2020 election. So, yes, they have ruled Trump led an insurrection.
Yes, they decided all of this without a formal indictment asserting he committed Insurrection, or a trial to permit him to put up a defense against a charge of insurrection, or a jury finding that he committed insurrection, or that he illegally attempted to overturn an election.

I have no idea why people resist this charge of insurrection. Every time Trump loses he advocates for the result to be overturned and he isn’t fussy how this is done. If Trump loses in 2024 he will do exactly the same thing again. Incitement, coercion and threats to all those involved to get what he wants.

This means you cannot have a normal election. If one party refuses to accept the result and has zero interest in democracy or the constitution then you will get chaos just as you did in 2020.

And now an actual court, a Supreme court at that, has ruled that Trump led an insurrection to overthrow the result of an election. And he will do it again if given the chance. No country can survive people running for office who have no fealty to the process and norms that govern it.

At least one court in the US has accepted this self-evident truth.
What did Hillary do in 2020? What did Gore do in 2000? What did Democrats do in the House? House Democrats objected to the election results in 2001, 2005, and 2017.

The ruling was on Trumps eligibility to stand for office given he attempted to overthrow the 2020 election. The Court ruled Trump was ineligible given - and I repeat myself - he attempted to overthrow the 2020 election. Trump will also attempt it again if he loses.

You know this. Everyone knows this. You just can’t accept it.

I can tell you they didn’t instigate a violent insurrection where people died.

Did you find this answer helpful?

The Constitution does not require that he 'committed insurrection'. Nor that he be indicted/impeached/arrested/convicted/anyfuckingthingelse insurrection.

No matter how many times that is repeated, it's still incorrect.

The phrase is 'supported insurrection'.

We know that is the Goebbels school of propaganda; repeat a lie until it's no longer challenged and at that point it becomes truth, however it's still being challenged. You need to get your news from somewhere beside GatewayPundit.

So, Trump told his supporters to come to Washington, be there; it'll be wild. He told them to march on the Capitol, fight like hell for their country and hang Mike Pence to stop him from thwarting the Constitution. He told his supporters that he'd pardon them for any offences committed that day. Some of those supporters were armed with guns, some explosive devices were found. Some supporters have pleaded guilty to insurrection, some have been found guilty of seditious conduct.

Therefore Trump has 'supported' insurrection.

The court already confirmed he was party to an insurrection, which is why their supreme Court removed him.

it's you if you're a pro lifer.
I'm not, but what does this have to do with Democracy meaning every vote counts? Or do you disagree with the claim that Democracy means everyone has the right to vote?

I claim every vote in a Democracy should count. You respond by bringing up state rights and abortion issues.

If you don't think every vote should count, just say so, don't deflect to different subjects.

Me thinks you’ve phrased this well to cover your own ass. You now need to explain what you mean by every vote should count. A Brian Kemp gubernatorial purge count? A Kobach investigation 3 million illegals voting count? Or trump going to Pennsylvania and then Arizona petitioning them to stop the counting in one state but continuing in the other type of count?

Their basis for ruling so is false and not legal as I have shown you. They have made a "political" decision. Every other case on the same 14th Amendment grounds has failed, except here where they don't decide the law, they rule politically.

Insurrection is a federal statute. Either charge him or they should shut the fuck up.
