Day 19: The opening track to your favorite album

As a follow-up to my previous Bowie comment (lol)...
Scary Monsters (and Super Creeps) has never been in quite as heavy rotation for me as his earlier work.
But I'm not sure why... because every time I listen to it I'm blown away by what a great f'ing album it is!
In fact, I'm going to listen to it right now! Thanks for the inspiration...

Day 19: The opening track to your favorite album

I believe that I love every song on this album.

I luv how you often advocate for this album, or songs from this album!
It's super cool when people consistently promote something they're passionate about. Great stuff.
And you're totally right, by the way. It's a fantastic album! Thank you for the recommendations.

This album kills me, I love it and listen to it almost daily. There are some weird tracks in it but I love them cause they are so different! I'll go listen again too!

Day 19 Opening track of my favorite album
I've worn this album out
Thereโ€™s about four or five records Iโ€™ve been thru one copy and worn it out and had to get a second copy.

Sir Lord Baltimore - Kingdom Come
Blitz - Voice of a Generation
Love - Forever Changes
The Cars - Candy-O
Bad Brains - but that was a cassette

Maybe one or two more.

Last night went sideways and Iโ€™m so fucking tired I donโ€™t even have the energy to be sassy.

Everyoneโ€ฆ donโ€™t be like Bogey

Heyโ€ฆ itโ€™s a miracle @Mr_bogey can actually operate a computer at his age. He knows a lot about music. As a youth, he used to attend Ye Olde Baroqueโ€™nโ€™Roll festivals of the day.

Youโ€™re really pushing your luck with this oneโ€ฆ ๐Ÿ˜œ
To be fair, I've been in the same boat for multiple reasons.

1: you've got two "favorite album" qualifiers this month (11th and today), so whatever album you picked on the 11th, technically, today should be the opener from that album, BUTT (notice it's a big butt ๐Ÿคฃ [I'll see myself out in a moment]) there's a risk of sounding terribly repetitive if you follow the prompts to the letter of the law.

2: favorite album could be "at the moment", in the last 5 years, of all time, or even of a specific genre. @Wonderer67 has a frustratingly relatable conundrum that I could mirror across a couple of genres.

Thank youโ€ฆ.Iโ€™ve collected vinyl since the age of 10 and I have 4 copies of this album. Iโ€™ve been matching up the best condition record with the best condition album cover. And I donโ€™t have the ability to toss the bad condition record and cover.

trying to choose a single favorite album is like asking me to choose which child I love best...impossible!

If I went with my favorite from Day 11, it would be Losing Touch by The Killers. However, that's just one genre. However, for this I will go with my Dead-Gay-Husband, George Michael, and his freaking fantastic album Older

Jesus to a Child-George Michael

"freaking fantastic album" is an absolutely appropriate description! Nice choice!

Day 20: A song by an artist no longer alive

Cliff Burton was the bassist on Metallica's first 3 albums and bright music theory into the band. He died when their tour bus crashed in 1986. He never got to play this live. There is a version of this with the bass track isolated that is nothing short of mind blowing, even to bass players. He was ahead of his time for bass players in metal.
