To me, Hot Fuss will always be the perfect album with no skips. I could cry when I think about what could have been with a series of videos for the murder trilogy but it wasn't to be.

Must admit so hard to call a favourite album/group but I'll give the same answer I gave to the kids at school today.... AC/DC.

Favourite album - either Highway to Hell (1979) or the mega follow up Back in Black (1980) which this song (You Shook Me All Night Long) is taken from.

Ps. Always tried to understand the reference to "American thighs" in this song. Are they supposedly different to any other countries

I like today's theme because of the natural "limits" that it imposes - rather than having the pressure of choosing from every song in the world, I only had my choice between 'eight' this time... after all, I've had the same favourite album for much of my life. It's difficult enough to find an album, even a great one, without one or two "lesser" cuts... but on this masterpiece every track is a classic. This album is like a forty-five minute mental and spiritual orgasm. Lovely.

I’m willing to perform a double blind study on the thighs of women of different national origins, although my current data set is limited to only two countries.

Hard to choose but “Stories from the City, Stories from the Sea” has been at the top for the last 20+ years.

One of my all-time favourite songs, albums, and artists! Outstanding choice!
