I'm thinking they should have left the clown to flop around like the fool he is. Probably would have been an easy win for a Dem next year. Now the 'Pubs will be focused on finding a strong candidate who could win the seat legitimately.

Naturally Mr Santos, in his apparent newly discovered role as a crusader against congressional corruption, couldn’t resist commenting, posting the video to his account on X.

“Hey @Brandon4ny22 this you? Attacking people is not cool or ethical!” he said.

In a later post, he called on New York rep Andrew Garbarino, a member of the House ethics committee, to take action.

Mr Santos has begun to take revenge on his former colleagues, making allegations against four of them so far on his X account and saying he will file ethics complaints on Monday.

the only problem now, if he tells the truth, people will be able to point to all his lies and say he's merely continuing in his 'regular mode'

Most people think the political system is broken. Most people vote to re-elect their representatives.

New York was one of the few states where the expected Red Wave actually appeared to some extent. The reason: for all the GQP howling to the contrary, the Times' coverage was very anti-Biden. That cost the Dems a number of close races, including this one.
 
Oh this gets better...the GOP candidate to replace Santos has been found guilty on Jan 9th insurrection charges.

This District is a strong red District
 
Considering the apparent strength of the evidence, I hope that the plea deal does not exclude imprisonment altogether; "pour encourager les autres." I don't favour excessively long sentences, but this guy does need to serve some time.

I’m sure he has a garage full of yard signs he needs to dup someone into “buying” for his campaign..

Maybe he will run as an alt, he’s good with those.
