We used to drive into the flats to catfish and this was the theme song lol

I was a whopping 7 and had no fucking idea what it meant.

It had a whole different meaning when I was 16/17

This song was a big hit when I was about 5-6 years old. It was played a lot on the radio and I didn't understand a word they were singing, but I liked how it sounded. I think I like the song even more today when I do understand the lyrics.
