This was kinda my theme song several years back. A broken heart led me on a cross country road trip. This song is about heartbreak but it's cathartic in a way.

This song chokes me up every single time!! Song is about a terrible custody battle in which lead singer was prevented from seeing his daughter while he was dealing with his inner demons. The beautiful thing is that he has turned his life around and now has full custody (I think) of his daughter and they have such an incredible bond.
