So interesting here. For instance, the Barenaked Ladies technically still exist but they are a very different band. I'm going to avoid the dead and the ambiguity and give my Boi, Karl Wallinger some love.

R.E.M. - E-Bow the Letter

A huge part of me wishes R.E.M. were still together, just to hear the amazing new music they would be creating. But I also respect the hell out of the classy and intelligent way that they put a beautiful bow on their 'band', and exited with dignity. A band that I always liked casually, but the more that I explored their back-catalogue, the more and more my appreciation for them grew...

Speaking of Joe Strummer. I hope I don't derail the thread now, but I like to post this short film. If @morelikeasong disapprove I take my punishment like a man and scream as a little girl.
The thing that got me thinking about this film was the fact that Joe Strummer made the music to it and was a good friend with the producer and the actor.
The film is full of fun little details and I find it hilarious! I think you do too. It's not more than 12 minutes.

So, that's Contra dance! Nope, don't think I'll ever do that unless I feel like giving people a good laugh and/or pissing off the die hards. With my ADHD, poor sense of timing and the fact that it sometimes takes me a few seconds to process my left and right...Holy shit, I'd be all over the place!

Bright Eyes is my absolute favorite band. Conor Oberst, the lead singer, writes the most incredible lyrics. I highly recommend checking out more. And I’m sure I’ll be sharing more songs from them here along the way.
