I LOVED her!!!Let's please not forget Bill. She was so great! Such a shame she only got one season, she contrasted with Capaldi so we'll!

Have to disagree. But none are more dapper than David Tennant, c’mon now
We should have a beer sometime!
Capaldi in Heaven Sent, Dr Who meets Groundhog Day. Anyone I meet that says they don't rate Capaldi I throw that episode in their face, nae literally mind, I'm a lover nae a fighter
I dont think any of the modern actors would have tackled it as well. The gravitas, the thought of living through that for over 4 billion years, the way Capaldi played the role, replaying the darkness of the character over and over, the unrelenting pursuit and never ending quest, it had humour, fear, so much raw emotion, it could have been handled so badly but wasn't, to me is everything that's good about the programme..
Blink was amazing and no joke I actually went online and bought a tshirt with 'the angels have the phonebox' on it. I had too! I mean come on!
I have a dalek and a sonic screwdriver on my house keyring, again not joking, I have an encyclopedia on my bookshelf, a Dr Who scarf somewhere..

Her grandfather Wilf. God bless Bernard Cribbins. A well loved actor in the UK and was in a non canon Dr Who movie way back in the 60's. Did love him getting to be part of the modern era. Oh but then, being part of the modern era, Baker in the Day of the Doctor, my god I had goosebumps! He was the doctor of my childhood and seeing him back even for just a few minutes was amazingDammit, I’m never going to be able to look at Beaker the same way again, and I fucking LOVE all things Muppets!
Love Tennant and Smith. Also haaated Donna, but her grandfather was delightful, as was Rory’s dad. Rose’s mom and BF were the worst. Liked Martha, really liked Nardole. Loved the Ponds so hard; all 3 of them!
Jodie got a lot of bad press and low ratings but I liked her doctor, she was let down by terrible scripts and storyline which was very surprising since she and Chibnal had came from Broadchurch. I hated the so called fans that were against her for playing the Doctor, 'the Doctors a man!'Love talking to a fellow whovian, all friends even though we don't agree on everything. (I loved Donna)
I actually also loved 13's exit ( and for the jackals, no, not because it meant her run was over) "Doctor Whomever I am going to be, tag, you're it" wonderfull!

100% agree, wasted just being in 1 season.Let's please not forget Bill. She was so great! Such a shame she only got one season, she contrasted with Capaldi so we'll!
Suddenly bowing my head in shame as I only now realise why you have "the angels have the phonebox" on a t-shirt.

I would say Bowties and then raise u 'fez's are cool'
Clara, Clara, Clara. Again another character not rated as high as they should be. She had to replace the Ponds, like come on, huge shoes to fill. Was in some superb episodes and for me had the greatest lines in Dr Who with Capaldi..There were a few I didn’t mention, but none were forgotten. I also like the Vastra, Jenny and especially Strax, and loved Clara too!
I just went looking for it but it's in the wash somewhere, I had it on last weekSuddenly bowing my head in shame as I only now realise why you have "the angels have the phonebox" on a t-shirt.
Well done sir!
This is why, amongst other reasons, why Matt is my fav Doctor. Youngest actor, at the time to take the role but by god did he grow in itI made this in a now-defunct virtual world back in the PS3 days. Customized the avatar to look like Smith, dressed like him and all.

And you had to bring it back to wanking...Anyway..
Did not expect a Whoville love fest logging back on here after such a long break..
Need to go find a hankie
Stephen Graham, Olly Alexander or Steve BuscemiI love him so much in the Stonehenge episode.
Something I said elsewhere:
“Takes a certain degree of eccentricity, brilliance, madness, bravado, quick wit and quicker tongue to pull off the role! Plus a hint of ‘don’t fuck with me, you don’t even want to KNOW what I’m capable of!’”
Smith definitely grew to embody that. It was part of a discussion on who we’d pick to be the next Doctor (before the most recent 1 was announced) and my picks were John Lithgow, Lauren Graham, Tony Shalhoub or Giancarlo Esposito. Several years ago, I had hoped Sidney Poitier might do a 1-off Christmas special or something as the Doctor, but that’s not possible now.
Who would you guys like to see cast as the Doctor someday?
